MEET OUR TEAM
With a father as a dentist, Dr. Julian practically grew up in a dental office. He started working in the lab sterilizing instruments at the age of 14. While earning a degree in Human Biology at the University of Kansas, he worked as a chairside assistant during his summer vacations. He went on to graduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, carrying the torch of dental excellence on for the second generation.
Dr, Julian moved to the Upstate in 2010 and was immediately struck with the beauty & variety of activities the Greenville area had to offer. In fact, He saw many similarities with his practice philosophy. Dr. Julian has spent countless hours attending continuing education courses gaining proficiency in oral surgery techniques, conscious sedation, implant placement, bone grafting and sinus lifts, laser dentistry, as well as staying on the cutting edge of advancements in cosmetic dentistry. His most recent career passion is sleep dentistry, helping patients both young and old who suffer from sleep-disordered breathing.
Much like the Upstate of South Carolina has just about everything to offer its residents, Dr. Julian is able to offer a treatment solution to any dental need a prospective patient might have all in the same office. Dr. Julian believes that all these different skills blend together and enable him to provide a more complete and comprehensive treatment experience for his patients in as few appointments as possible, and with only one doctor to meet he is able to create lasting patient-doctor relationships with a personal touch.
When Dr. Julian is not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Holly and their two Children, Poppy and Knox. If there’s any time left over, you can find him on the golf course or doing some much needed yard work. You might also recognize Dr. Julian from television. He has appeared on The Bachelor franchise (where he met his wife) as well as the talk show, The Doctors, several times to discuss and share tips for maintaining a healthy mouth. At least once a year the good doctor pays homage to his hometown of Steamboat Springs, Colorado by hitting the slopes in the Rocky Mountains.
“Holly became interested in the dental world after meeting her husband, Dr. Blake Julian while she was living in Los Angeles. She moved to Greenville shortly thereafter and began working as a dental assistant in 2011 (in large part so she could understand and participate in family dinner conversations between Blake and his father who is also a dentist). Prior to living in South Carolina she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Walsh University in Ohio. Holly is a published children’s book author and also won the title of Mrs. South Carolina in 2016. She and Dr. Julian have been married since 2012 and have a daughter named Poppy and a dog named Molar Bear. “
